Family Night @ Cornbelly's

Our Family Night last week consisted of taking the kids to Corn Belly's. We all had so much fun! The hayride as a family was quite funny. They had a teeage kid that brought up a second tractor and wagon to help ease the line. Well once we got a little way out into the pumpkin patch he stalled it and couldn't get it restarted. So we all had to get off and walk back and by the time we did that he was back with it started again. Lol! Needless to say the second time we had a good ride! The kids were pretty happy about it!

The second hayride!

Ok so there was a huge pit of corn. The kids absolutely loved it! We couldn't get Ammon to hold still long enough to even snap a decent picture... Caitlynn however... well I think her face tells it all.

Ammon on his tire horse... he was trying to race Caitlynn.

Ammon liked the pumkin's that were everywhere!

Caitlynn loved the princess castle, she went up and didn't come down for quite some time!

Caitlynn also enjoyed the tire horses.. as we all know that in real life she loves ponies!

They ate their pb&j happliy! They loved riding in the wagon.

Aren't they so cute as farm animals?

Hiking with Friends

Last weekend we took the opportunity to go hike to the water fall in Pleasant Grove with some friends. We had previously done the hike just as a family. But it was really nice weather and a good time to enjoy a picnic and a hike with some friends. We all had a good time.

A Day For Canning Applesauce!

I now know why my mother went crazy whenever she would try to can anything. Yikes! Aaron has a co-worker who gave us a ton.. (literally) of apples. So Teresa, Lorina and I decided to can some applesauce. Well we ended up with about 70 jars total. We still have three more boxes full. Needless to say we started at @ 11:30 am yesterday.... Teresa and I finished up things about about 8:30 pm last night. WHEW! Talk about a long day. The kids were pretty good for the most part, they had there fair share of struggles though.. But hey what did we expect there were 6 kids all three and under.... Ammon was the oldest. But all in all I think we were pretty darn productive. I am very proud at what we accomplished. Here are a few pictures that best describe the day... I only wish I had taken a picture before cleaning off Teresa stove last night... talk about STICKY YUCK!

Me and my boy!

Aaron and were trying so hard to take pictures of the kids on Sunday afternoon, and then when I finally thought that we were done I began to change the kids' clothes and Aaron kept taking pictures... which I didn't find out until I downloaded the pictures. Anyhow, I thought that this one of Ammon and I was great!

Caitlynn's many moods!

I also got Cait a new sunday dress I tried to take her picture she let me snap virtually one photo that was decent and then beyond that... well I think that the pictures speak for themselves.

Gq Magazine Take 2 !

My Sweet Ammon is sooo handsome. I guess I am a little prejudice though since he does belong to me. I finally bought him a cute little suit and couldn't resist taking his picture. I think he looks so cute in it.

Party Girls!

More fun Pics from Lorina's party! I guess down at heart we are all just a bunch of party girls!

Lorina's Birthday Party

So we decided to throw a surprise party for Lorina's 25th birthday. It was soooooooo fun! She was very SURPRISED to say the least. Needless to say we made a huge mess with the confetti and I bet she'll be finding that at least until her next birthday. Hehehe! The kids even tried to swipe some of the balloon's... hehe mostly Ammon and Brooklyn decided they wanted all the red balloons for Brooklyn's room they had loads of fun getting them up there, I 'm sure.

At any rate, here are some fun pics of us all waiting and then her arrival.

The Femenist in all of us!

Ok so this is a little bit directed at my husband... But I will start this with talking about a few things that I think and believe in strongly. I am married and I love being married. I think that marriage is a wonderful thing. Its tough sometimes and its hard sometimes. I believe that every couple goes through different things and that those things are the things that either make or break a couple. I think that women should be at home with their kids when they have kids. I don't believe in letting strangers raise my children. I think that women should stand together and say that its a good thing to be at home raising my family, and being a good wife to my husband is important. I think that women should stand beside their husband and support and love them, so that they can go out everyday feeling happy about providing for the family that they helped create. I think that love goes a long way and that husbands and wives should stand beside one another and choose together. In this crazy mixed up world that we live in more and more the family is looked down on. I know that I can hold me head high and say that I take great pride in being at home with my family, and being married. Marriage, if done right... is one of the most rewarding relationships you will ever partake in. Some one once said "There's no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love. There is only a scarcity of resolve to make it happen. " I really believe this with all my heart. Stand up for what you believe in and teach your children the place that they belong. Our children can grow up right in this crazy world we just have to shout a little louder than the femenist liberal's out there.

Daddy's little girl!

The phrase daddy's little girl 100% apply's to the relationship that Aaron and Caitlynn have. She has him right where she wants him. The other night when he came home from work they just played and played... These are pics from that. I think that its sooo cute.. I can't believe how much they look alike. I haven't really noticed before I was editing these photos. But wow!

Walter Visits!

So I finally convince Sarah to let Walter come over and play. We went to walking group while on the way there he slept, and then again on the way back and then when we got home he slept for several hours. Well he finally woke up and I was able to snap some pictures of him with my kids. They absolutely love him.

Special note to Caitlynn's boyfriends: I think she's got a new younger guy! hehehe!

Bed Time!

Usually at our house bed time is fairly routine. Eight pm the kids go to bed. On the rare chance that Ammon naps in the afternoon it takes him FOREVER to go to bed. Well this was one of those nights. He snuck in the office and took anything he could sneak out, pencils, crayons, and yes even my camera, he took all pictures of his spider man night light.... there were probably at least 50 pictures of just that. So when Aaron caught him red handed he knew he was in trouble and quickly handed over all he had taken, and then nicely got in bed; and told Aaron he was sorry and he would go to bed. So Aaron snapped this picture right after all of this... I can't help but think how sweet he looks here. Lol ironic isn't it?

Bow Making...

Ok so I have been learning how to make some of my own bows for Caitlynn and its really not as hard as it looks. Which is good. I was trying to take a picture of the bow on Cait's head but Caitlynn wouldn't hold still and then she gave me a grumpy face.... LOL! I had to laugh, and add it on here.( So sorry there's not a better picture of the bow. ) She's so cute even with her grumpy face on. Oh well. Moral of the story next time I will just take a picture of the bow.. just not on her head.

The Styling's of Julie: Homecoming Hair!

So at the begining of the school year Dez and I made a bet. I bet that she would get asked to the first dance of the year. Which is Homecoming of course. Well, as you can imagine with Dez being such a cute girl she did get asked and I WON the bet! So yesterday we practiced her hair as the dance is this weekend. What do you think?

Cousin Time!

I wish you could have all seen this... and all the pics, from this funny scene... My mother in law comes in the house and tells us that Ammon and Ethan are playing much to rough and they aren't listening to her. So we tell her that she can break it up as she see's fit. Well about an hour later Andrea and I are download the pictures from her camera and we realize that Emma has nicely documented my mother in laws story... Needless to say we were laughing pretty hard at how funny all the pictures were. So these are just a few and I think they paint quite a nice story for you. I guess it just goes to show that "boys will be boys" haha!

My sweet Boy!

Ammon is such a cute boy... I think I should start the Little Boy's version of GQ Magazine... He makes a pretty good Model...

Down Set Hike!

Poor Ammon I bought him some new pants and darn it they are too big around the waste... I need to get the poor boy a belt.. but boy did I have a good time laughing!

Who Nose?

I thought this was super funny... we were at my sis in law's yesterday and the kids... mainly her daughter Emma, and my sweet Ammon, went outside to take some pictures.. For the most part they are pretty good and somewhat funny!

My Bio Poem!

Julie

Kind, stubborn, intmadating, happy.

Wife to Aaron, Mommy to my kids Ammon and Cait, daughter of God.

Lover of Aaron, my kids, doing hair, & blogging fun pictures and things we are doing.

Who feels happy to have a wonderful hubby, happy that I am healthy for the most part, & and happy that I have good friends.

Who needs to kind friends, chocolate, time to herself at least once a day.

Who fear Spiders, Snakes, and some one kidnapping my kids.

Who gives love, kindness and help when needed.

Who would like to see my kids grow up and be resoponsible adults, Aaron and I grow old together, see my grandparents in the eternities.

Hair stylings of Julie!

So last night as the boys had priesthood confrence. Lorina and I decided to do her hair. Which turned out fantastic! Needless to say with four kids 3 and under is was quite the job. It mostly consisted of letting the children run wild and moving the couch so they couldn't get up stairs... unfortunately Ammon and Brooklyn and are much to smart and they climbed over it. Needless to say the mess was Everywhere.... Lol! I wish I could have taken a picture, but it was much to late by the time we finished.

I do really enjoy doing hair but someday when I move into a house and have my salon I am going to enjoy it so much more.

All I have to say is that it was all well worth it due to that fact that Lorina's hair turned out so pretty!

yeah
