I am only a few days later a couple of dollars short...

Well you get the picture. I am in the process of updating out blog.. In order to do this I need to edit some photo's and think of some creative words to go with those pictures. Having 4 children though makes this somewhat of a challenge as I am trying to adjust.. sleepless nights and as I am typing my newborn is crying and my one year old screaming and my 6 yr old is trying to entertain the one yr old.. soo I guess that is all the time I get to take on this post. I promise more soon though :)

Fall 2011 Photo time!

I love the fall. I think it is one of my favorite times of the year! The colors are beautiful and weather is usually pretty nice. We get to harvest our garden. And I usually get the itch to de junk the house and get it ready for winter. Which all of the above have been true of this year. It has been a little more hectic now that Ammon started 1rst grade and Cait is doing Preschool( mommy co op) and I have Roni that is now a crawling almost walking monster. Just add being preggers to that.
If you had told me ten yrs ago that this is what my life would be like I would have laughed. In fact in my singles ward I had a home teacher that told me that his wife would stay home and be bare foot and pregnant in the kitchen most of the time.. This use to really irck me. I was like no way I will not be having that, I am going to get married work and maybe have a couple of kids and enjoy life. Oh if he only knew my life now.. haha. I guess reality being that I wouldn't have it any other way. I thought when I quit working a couple of years ago that I would be miserable staying home, that it would be boring. Come to find out it is quite the opposite of that. I love being home with my kids ( after all they are only little for a short time). I do not know how I would work and have three kids ( other than the working from home that I do) I enjoy taking care of my house and cooking dinner each night for my family. Every once in a while I do feel like I have given up alot to be home, but I know that it is only for a short time and eventually my kids will grow up and be gone. For now I guess we will just embrace what comes to us.
Here are some of the fall family pics that we took this year I think thats about all that we are going to get to till after this baby boy comes. Hope you all enjoy.. Happy Halloween next week!

Pregnancy #4

Well I know I haven't been as dillegent as I should be with this since I mostly keep this as a blog of my family. However, having 3 kids has kept me super busy and with having mobile uploading to facebook whenever it seems as though my own thoughts and feelings have gone by the wayside just a little bit. Anyhow, my last post I believe was about us having a boy. We are very excited about this! This pregnancy reminds me so much of being pregnant with Ammon I can't help but be excited. I am feeling really well and although I can't really say that I love being pregnant ( I do some parts) it has been just fine this time around.. err if you don't include how much weight I have gained and the fact that I can't get my wedding ring on, and the fact that I showed much sooner than I was anticipating. Oh well it's my 4th baby what can I say??
Anyhow many of you have asked for pics of me pregnant.. sooo here they are! By the last ones I took Cait was upstairs telling me how to pose..lol there were some poses I was like Cait I can't do that one! haha!

O Boy O Boy!

I am really happy to announce that we are having another boy. We are very excited about this. I think I am most excited since from the very begining of finding out we actually were expecting I kept saying I am pretty sure we are having a boy. My kids seemed to think it was a no brainer though considering that fact that nightly family prayer that was said by one of them included asking for a baby brother.. has been since I had Veronica! We are very excited to be welcoming a baby boy into the family here very soon.
This summer has been a big blur to me. Ammon played t ball this summer and had fun. Aaron was the coach and I think for the most part he enjoyed it. Basically this summer has been filled with lots of usual summertime goodness of swimming and picnics, and just trying to enjoy the simple things that life has to offer.
School is now about to begin I have to admit I didn't take a whole lot of pictures this summer.. So I will try to be better this fall. Hopefully we can take some new family pictures this fall and enjoy them till the new baby comes and then take some more. Either way with school about to begin Ammon will be starting first grade and Caitlynn will be doing preschool ( just a mommy co op one) Should be fun :) I am really starting to look forward to what the fall has to offer this year. I love fall and what it brings with it.

1, 2, 3 & 4....

Aaron likes to sing me this song during times like these. It is sung to the tune of follow the prophet.... Julie is pregnant but no body knows, but they're going to find out when her belly grows.

If you are really wondering now, yes it is true I am expecting yet again. This was a HUGE! surprise to us. At first they thought that I had another tubal pregnancy and it took them awhile to figure everything out. When they did I was really surprised and kept asking are you sure?? Alas I am almost 14 weeks along, I am going to predict that I am having a boy my pregnancy being closely related to how I felt when I was preggers with Ammon. If I have another girl I will be really surprised. Anyhow, hopefully the shock of this all will wear off soon, I am still having a hard time getting my head around it myself. I guess we are excited deep down though I am just not sure how I am feeling about having 4 when I just had #3 but I guess sometimes the Lord knows things that we don't. Either way it will be a fun way to end the year.

Ammon's exhibition meet!

Ammon did really well with his gymnastics this yr. In fact he did so well that they moved him up a level. We are very proud of him. He is still doing gymnastics and is now starting t ball. we shall see how that goes. Anyhow, most of his events were movies and well I didn't want to post all of those so here is his picture at the end with his blue ribbon.

Ammon graduates from Kindergarten!

Ammon is going to be officially in school all day next yr :( I am really happy for him though he had a good teacher and really enjoyed going to school and learning he is doing really well at his reading, even though it has been a bit of a struggle for him. His math skills so far though are really great! I really hope he doesn't take after me and struggle with math. Let's just say it wasn't my favorite growing up. Anyhow, we sure are proud of all he accomplished this year.

The bathroom is finished... mostly

So we worked really hard on our basement this winter and are finally rapping things up. The bathroom is pretty much done we just need to put the trim up on the bottom next to the floor but here is how it turned out! I am pretty please with myself.

Random summer Fun!

Caitlynn's has these two best friends and the play so cute together. Ava, Cait, and Sarah. Sometimes the cute little neighbor boy Bridger comes over to play with them! O just by the way Roni is 9 months old her! She is getting so big I can't believe it!

Caitlynn's spring dance recital!

Caitlynn had her first dance recital this spring. She did such a good job! We are so very proud of her and all that she accomplished this year in her dance program.

My birthday!

I know I am really behind on here... Only since Easter though right? haha we have been so crazzzy busy with life around here it has been hard to keep up. So bare with me there are going to be quite a few posts! Hope you all are having a great summer :)

I guess I will start with my birthday. It was kind of a sad b day this yr. It is my last year in my 20's. To be 30 next yr is going to be HUGE! I can't believe it. Anyhow, It was a good day none the less and the life that I have I could not be happier.

Easter 2011

Easter this yr was alot of fun. We kept it pretty easy going. The Easter Bunny did visit our house. The kids had a little bit harder time finding their baskets then normal I guess the Easter bunny must have hid them pretty good ;) This was also Roni's first Easter... Anyhow, I think the pictures speak for themselves.

I love Easter time, with all the new life coming out, our yard blooms so pretty and there is just so much to be thankful for. I really am so thankful for the gift of the gospel in my life. The knowledge that I have that I can be with my family again someday is something that I hold very dear to my heart.

Happy Easter!!!

Salt Lake Temple

So about a month or so ago we took a trip up to temple square.. it was on one of those rare days that was actually nice! Here we ended up going to the top of the Confrence Center, which I hadn't been to in quite some time so it was pretty fun and we got some cute pictures. Aaron's mom also went with us. I think that perhaps we will go back when the scenery is a little more green and pretty and take some more family photos.

Roni 7 and 8 months

So Roni is now bordering on almost 9 months old. Where has the time gone?? I can't believe it just in the last week she has decided that it is high time that she becomes mobile.

Things she can do:

Rollover

Almost situp without having to hold on to anything.

Scoot backward.

Go from a sitting to a crawling stance. ( no crawling yet though whew!)

She eats solid foods

Smiles, giggles and love to watch Ammon and Caitlynn. She is also very much becoming aware of where mommy is ALL THE TIME! Sometime super cute but other times very difficult. She loves to jibberjabber, She says momma and dadda and nonono. She has almost two teeth and sleeps very well, unless her teeth are coming in. All in all we are very glad she is part of our family :)

Stake Confrence

I know it has been a while since I have written on here. Between trying to finish our basement ( which hopefully will be done next week and I can finally post pictures) and having two kids in dance and gymnastics and having baby that is growing more and more demanding, things have been somewhat hectic. Did I mention Aaron has started taking a class again. Well there is that too.
Anyhow, the hour is late so I hope for my own sake that this make sense. This week has been a wonderful week, yet again I am reminded of how truly blessed we are. This week our stake celebrated the Relief Society Birthday, they provided a dinner and a fireside. It was really great I came home and felt so wonderful. The spirit that I felt there was AMAZING! I came home thinking man if that was good I can hardly wait for the adult session of stake confrence.
Well tonight was the adult session. Elder Ballard came and spoke. He truly is called of God. The spirit spoke to my heart tonight. I love the gospel dearly, my trials in comparison to some are but small. I was reminded tonight that I need to listen more, turn off the world around me and listen to the still small voice that spoke so clearly to my heart tonight. I know that the Lord loves us all so much. But the impression that I got tonight was so much more than just that, our stake president has talked before about actually believing the Savior and not just believing in the Savior, believing that what he did was really for me. That I will make mistakes sometimes and have to try again, and again and again. That he will NEVER give up on me. I really am so thankful that I have this knowledge. Knowing and believing that makes it so much easier to get up on Monday morning and try again.
I know that I have a few trials along the way in my life but nothing that wasn't too big a deal. Although it might have felt that way at the time. I think that the first time I really realized that I knew the difference between the spirit and satan was at 17 and things weren't so great at home and I thought that my only option was to leave. I learned then how to disearn to spirit from the rest of the shouting world around me. This later helped me grow when I knew that Aaron and I were supposed to get married and he was getting ready to go off to war and feeling sorry for myself right before he left I just prayed that I would know that things would be ok. When their unit left and all the families were there saying good bye I realized then that it would be ok he was just leaving me and not me and a bunch of small children or teenage children, I wasn't sick with cancer or anything I was healthy and had a job and a home and family and friends close by when I needed a shoulder to cry on( and believe me I cried ALOT). And that if the Lord took Aaron that things would still all work out ok. All things are in the Lord's hands. You would have thought that I had that part figured out by now, but I still wane sometimes.
Before we move here to Saratoga, Aaron and I had looked at probably a 100 houses. Everything from Lindon to Saratoga. We had offered on 13 homes, only to be shot down time and time again. The last house before this one we even thought was a done deal and it was in lehi and needed minimal work, Aaron and I prayed and prayed and fasted that the deal would go through. After fasting one Sunday we both said we felt like it would work out. The next week we found out that alas it was not going to. We both felt deflated how could we have both missed the condfused feeling of the answer no. I remember sharing a few of my thoughts that night in prayer with the lord about how I felt at that moment. I remember telling him how angry I was and how there were no better homes out there that we could afford. After that I climbed into bed and went to sleep and the next day I got right back to looking at homes. When we found this home I knew this is where we would end up. ( it was in much better condition than the one previous) I am not sure how but I just knew. And 4 weeks later we moved. I feel like this is my own little slice of Zion. We have a wonderful ward and great neighbors. I love our home. Our kids love it here, and seeing them happy just warms my heart. The service that our ward gave us while I was on bed rest last year was more than I ever think I can repay. For that our family is really grateful. I guess I should just end my ramble of jumbled thoughts with that I know of the savior's love for all of us, we are never alone even in a world of such upheavel and wickedness. The Lord knows, he is there if we are listening. And even sometimes when we are not he will give us nudge in the right direction.

Roni 6 months

So the past six months have flow right past me like a wirlwind. I can't believe that Roni is six months old. Aaron and I just celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. And things here are in full swing. Ammon is in school and taking gymnastics. Cait goes to play group twice a week and is taking ballet and tap. Roni is six month has now learned to roll over. We are currently finishing our basement and let me tell you what it is not what I pictured.. Had I known the dust that it would involve I would have wrapped my entire basement that is finished in plastic... sigh.. good things I can just wash most of the things and clean the carpet when all the dust has settled.. HA! Anyhow, I am aiming for president's day for it to all be done, however being a realist.. I would probably venture my guess more towards the end of the month. Not to worry I will post some pics of it all finished!

All is well here on the home front we are crazy busy, exhausted, and well even as much as I hate to admitt it.. a little unorganized. But we are enjoying all these things as they happen! :)

New Year's Eve!

World's worst New Year Eve Ever! I had been waiting on my new couch to be picked up and they had a mix up and we had to go get it way up by the airport.. ( not to worry not that far.. except for the fact that it was only blizzard like conditions up there) upon getting it home we realized we had been given two chaise's and no couch part.. fairly upsetting in and of itself. I figured though that the following day they would be able to correct it.. well it is still not correct and will be on wed. After that I thought well it can't get much worse... boy was I WRONG! My neice Olivia (5) decided to give Cait a haircut! I was fairly upset to say the least and 30 mins before ringing in the new yr I had to attempt to fix her hair.. Truly sad :( It is as fixed as it is going to get till it grows back.
