Weddin time!

My little sister Megan finally met the love of her life and got married this summer.  Congrats to her and Kevin.

The first half of summer 2013

From the time we arrived back in Utah from Portland.  We really hit the ground running to do all kinds of summer time fun! These are a few of the things we did.  Or at least what I took pictures of..

In Salt Lake at the pioneer park
The sunset on the way home.
 Ammon and his cousin Jude
 Emma
 Claire
After being in Porland the Magnus children decided that they missed us so much that they had to come for a visit.  So we took them to the Salt Lake temple.  It was alot of fun.

Princess Camp is always a hit.  Roni was old enough to go this year she thought is was wonderful!
Ancestry.com is who my hubby man works for and they hosted a 5 k run ( which I ran) then afterward they had all kinds of fun stuff for the kids.  Face painting was a huge success!

Roni and Ty always think they are so funny. I just had to add this one so you could all see for yourselves.
We went to sundance and rode the lift and hiked around, after which Aaron and Ammon headed of to the fathers and sons outing which Aaron contracted poison oak from... No I didn't get any pics of it, believe me when I say it  wasn't fun.  Instead I am posting these beautiful pics that I took from the lift!

A little rope swing on the Provo River that the kids had fun on.
Super hero camp is also a summer favorite for my kids, as always it was a hit!

We do temple trips with family from time to time, this was after the temple and we went out for ice cream.  Anyone who knows my mother in law know of her love for ice cream, this picture I just happen to take a the right moment. hahaha!
Ammon and Emma at pioneer park
Aaron's company also hosted a summer party at thanksgiving point.  The kids loved it.

Visit with Sarah!

I know you will get a kick out of this Sarah.. This one is for you!
While going and coming from Portland we were able to stop and visit with my long time friend Sarah and her family in Idaho.  Between the two of us we have 7 children under the age of 8.  It was fun to be able to see her and visit even though it was short.  Sarah and I have been friends since we were in the 7th grade.  Wow I feel old now..Just look at all our darling children!

Ammon's Baptism

I can't believe Ammon turned 8 a couple of weeks ago.  This weekend was a special one.  My oldest is now baptized and going to scouts.  How did this happen so quickly!? Ammon got baptized on July 6 2013.  It was a very special day.  Aaron baptized him and my dad Grandpa Dalton was able to confirm him and give him the holy ghost.  My mom played the piano and Claire sang " If the Savior stood beside me" Justin my brother spoke about baptism and Dez my niece spoke about the Holy Ghost.  Lyla and Andrea said the opening and closing prayers.  At the end ( while trying to wrangle my other children quiet, the bishop asked me to share my testimony. Reluctantly I did.   Overall very good day! I am happy, so is Ammon.  What a special experience it is seeing your children join the church and recieve the holy ghost.  Definently inspires one to be a better parent that is for sure.
 Love my family!

Happy 4th of July

This year we kept things really easy.  We spent most of the day doing yard work with the kids.. ( They were slightly less than thrilled out this) but the in the evening we took them to Aaron's cousin's house in Pleasant Grove and watched fireworks.  Over all it was a good day much was accomplished and then we relaxed afterward.  Summer is going by much to quickly, I am exhausted and the next few weeks I don't think are going to relent at all. But I guess that is ok to. Happy 4th everyone!

Scout Camp

Ammon has now turned 8 and has begun the scouting process,  I was able to go to day camp with him this year and it was super fun.  He has a blast and loved every  minute.

Summer time hurra!

This summer so far seems to be flashing by like lighting.  I can't believe how quick it is going by.  I feel as though there is something almost every weekend.
At the very beginning of June we went to Portland to see my nephew Jaden graduate.  It was so much fun.  We haven't had a family vacation that good in a very long time. We hiked to the beachy river.  It was the best day I don't think I will forget it as long as I live just watching my kids play and enjoy was so much fun.  It was a really relaxing trip. Along the way we stopped and visited my dear friend Sarah and her family, and Uncle Larry.  Trip rating was a 9 out of 10!
