A Family Christmas Traditions that we started...
I actually ripped the idea off of my sister in law. Every year she takes her kids to get a picture with santa. They then take it home and they have this really cute book with all the years in it. The front of it they cut out so that they can see that years picture in it. They display the book in their front room all through out Christmas time, and you can see how much her kids have grown each year. Its really cute. Sooo... I decided that we would do the same. Ammon's first picture with santa was when he was 6 months old. And yes for those of you who are wondering, he did smile. I can't actually claim I have ever experienced a "bad santa picture" though this is only our fourth picture. The down part is that Cait never smiles. But theres always next year I guess!

That is such a neat tradition. Too bad my childhood fear of Santa carried over into adulthood! :)
I've done that with my kids too and I love those pictures! Your kids will look at them soooo much over time as will you!

I love that tradition! Your lucky, I think all 3 of my boys screamed in their first santa picture.
I friend..how are you...you should get a picture with santa and put that up all over your house year round, it would be HOT...
