My handsome 5 yr old!

My cutie Cait that is about to become a big sister!

All in all its been a busy yet fun summer. We mostly are just sticking to home but enjoying our yard and house and family that lives close by since I can't really go do to much till I have this baby!
Hope you are all having a great summer too!

Dez Graduates!

Dez is my neice. I cant believe she is getting soooo old! Just kidding! Life for her is finally about to begin! Lucky girl... now we just need to find her a good looking, hard working wealthy guy and get her marrried off! lol! Anyhow, in case you are wondering yes my brother's graduation and her graduation were the same day just different times.. It was a fun yet exhausting day!

Colin's Graduation!

Colin is my youngest brother and he graduated from West Lake High school. As soon as he gets off on his mission there will only be one left child at home... well unless Megan decides to live with my parents till she gets married someday... haha! Anyhow, this is the first graduation that one of my siblings aren't missing due to missions and so forth. So it was a long day but it was alot of fun!

A day late and a dollar short.. oh well..

I know that I am about a month behind on posting here.. but please bare with me... somedays it is just a struggle to get out of bed in the morning. Baby and I are doing fairly well for the most part. I still have morning sickness at least 2 days a wk. But I am almost done and the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter! Baby girl is still measuring small, but is doing fine. Blood clot is still there but not causing to much havoc.. yet anyway... Things have just been super busy for us since school let out and summer began... Well anyhow I think I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Hope all is well with everyone!

Small update!

So had a Dr appt. last friday, everything is still pretty much the same baby is measuring about 12 days small now and is only about a pound and a half, and about the 24th percentile. Which the dr said they like them to be closer to the 50 percentile by this stage. We are hoping she will grow enough and that things will turn out just fine. I got the run around big time on friday and ended up spending wayyyyyyyyy to long at the hospital for all my other tests that they had me do. But all in all things turned out ok I was just really worn out by the time the day was over. I now get to see the perinatologist every three wks in stead of evey four weeks. I am now almost 28 wks so only about three months left hurray!!
ps.. any name suggestions.. we still have yet to pick out a name for her!

I just couldn't pass up the chance to post such a cute pic. This was from the other night when Bridger had to go home so Cait could go to bed.

Spring has sprung!

Ok even though this weather has been craptastic! On the few good days I have been able to go take some fun pics with my new camera around my yard.. oh how I am enjoying this new camera of mine! The ones of Cait were taken over Mother's day weekend at my mother in law's house in Mona! Ammon wouldn't let me take any of him though he was afraid of the bees!

My birthday!

I am not really wanting to post any pics of me blowing out my birthday cake this year. Wayyy to many candles on there. I am getting up there in my age. Needless to say I had a super great birthday this year. I am on modified bed rest now and was able to go to dinner with my hubby by ourselves... It wasn't the greatest food ever.. mostly I think because lots of food still make me really sick, but I sure had a good time. Then back to our house for cake a ice cream and a small crew of people for my party. After mostly everything was done and almost everyone had gone home Aaron came to me and said I got you one more thing. I opened it and began squealling with delight! Literally! I would say this picture speaks for itself. I have wanted a really nice camera for a really really really long time! I am still not sure how Aaron was able to swing this but I am sure happy about it! I am learning so much about cameras. Well it was a good day! Thanks hon!

Easter 2010!

Ok I know I know I am wayyyy behind.. But here are a couple of pics of the kids on Easter Morning. Even though it was cold and wet it was still a really great day!

Spiritual thoughts and reflection.

I woke up today feeling very happy and content with the way things in my life are going right now. After having to struggle through the past few weeks of bed rest and not doing anything, I am now able to do a little more. I am begining my second week of what I refer to as freedom. I was able to attend sacrament meeting today. As it began I felt the spirit very strong. There are alot of really great people in our ward. I learned to today that there are many around us struggling with things that are much worse than what we have been dealing with and in a sense I am grateful for the struggles we have had.. they are minor in comparrison. I feel humbled by those that have helped us in our time of need even though they probably have struggles also. It makes me think that I should strive to serve more to help others around me more often. The spirit bore witness today of the atonement of Jesus Christ that it is Real and that each one of us has the opportunity to repent and come unto Christ. That the Lord loves us each so very much. That the love that he has for us is unconditional, and pure. Sitting in sacrament listening to those who bore testimony today was truly unlifting and humbling all at once. A young man in our ward who was getting ready to serve a mission got up to bear his testimony, and he talked about how he had made some mistakes, and wasn't able to serve yet, but that he still loved the gospel and the Lord and that he was willing to repent and make it better. Was truly humbling... I think that took a lot of courage and as I looked around I don't think there were many dry eyes. I thought to myself how much the Lord must love this young man, and how hard it must have been for him to get up and do and say all that he did. But the compassion in the room was so great. That I hope that this young man really does know that the Lord does love him despite his mistakes.
I know without a doubt that the Lord lives and loves each of us. I am truly blessed. Aaron and I have been blessed with things that I never thought would be possible. I know and have witnessed especially over the course of the last year and half, that time and time again the Lord is continuing to bless us and help us. It might not always be in the form I think it should be in or in the time frame I am hoping for. But with time and some patience the Lord has blessed us more than I think sometimes I deserve. I love being part of this church and knowing that I have the opportunity to be with my family again someday. The security that brings me is a blessing and a comfort. I am truly grateful for the service that we have recieved over the past few weeks, the phone calls the visits the help with my children, all of the support and prayers on our behalf. I have felt the blessings come. We are very blessed.

I know I haven't updated on here alot lately but get ready I have some great new pics to put on here and well I will update this more later on in the week!

Good News! FINALLY!~

Today I saw the perinatologist. Still have a blood clot in there. It is however getting smaller and not so threatening. I am still high risk for delivering an early baby and so forth..but because I haven't had alot of bleeding these past few weeks they are letting me get off bed rest slowly. Still no lifting anything to heavy and still have to do alot fo resting. But as long as I am not having contractions and or bleeding then I can be up and doing more. YEAH!
One bad part was that baby is measuring 9 days behind... which is the first time she has measured behind. They are a little concerned but they said for now things look fine but that can change quickly and to just be careful. We are also waiting on some blood work results for my antigine count which will also play a part in if I have to go back to bed rest or not. But for now I am happy to be able to be up and doing a few more things.
Thanks everyone for all your love and support and prayers!
I will keep you posted!

New addition...

Ok Ok it's not what you think...
Over the weekend we got a 5 month old golden retriever puppy for FREE! He is pure bred I can not believe it!.. Well the kids named him Charlie. If I am ever able to snap some pics I will up load them on here, but as of yet I have not gotten any pics. My mother in laws friend gave him to us, he was the last in the litter that didn't get sold and she just wanted him to have a good home. So special thanks to Shawna! The kids love him so much. Timing couldn't be worse with me being on bed rest still. But its still fun none the less, and the kids love walking him around the yard, and with the weather getting nicer I can actually sit outside and watch and enjoy my kids and the dog.
With spring in sight Aaron has already begun work on the yard.. my hubby is happiest working outside and making our yard a work of art, only a few more weeks and he will be building a bigger dog run for the dog as well as a shed. Its going to be a project but the dog will need more space as he gets a little bigger, and well our garage is getting so packed with yard stuff that we need more space.
Well, anyhow I will maybe send the camera out with Aaron here soon to take some good pics our Charlie puppy... even though he is big he is still a puppy. Lots of fun!

Confession

Ok so I know that I am still on bed rest but stake confrence is tomorrow, which means that tonight was adult session of stake confrence. I haven't been to church in 7 weeks and even though I try to do spiritual things I really wanted to be able to go to the adult session of stake confrence. So I woke up this morning and it took me a little while to feel well enough to get ready for the day.. hair, make up ect.... but I was able to manage. So tonight I was able to go sit and listen to stake confrence.
I am so blessed that I was able to go. I haven't been out of the house in weeks except to see the doctor. How grateful I am that I was able to go tonight and feel decent, and be able to feel of the spirit that comes from our inspired leaders. They talked alot tonight about temples and marriage and the importance of both things in our lives. How they go hand in hand. I am so grateful for the knowledge that I have of the gospel. I am even more grateful that I got to go tonight, even though I know I know.. I am supposed to be on bed rest. Don't worry I am not going anywhere else anytime soon. But just listening to the speakers tonight gave me great hope and thankfulness for the trials that I have, and have helped me better see what I can learn from this.
I am really happy to be able to have some spiritual upliftment in my life tonight. I am so grateful for the gospel, and for those that are helping us so much in our time of need. We are truly blessed.

Sugar and spice and everything nice!

Yep thats right.... we are having a GIRL! I can't believe it I was thinking for a long time we were having a boy. Caitlynn has maintained this whole time though that it's a girl... she even cried when we told her one day that it might be a baby brother... BUT alas she was right it is a girl! We haven't even been talking about girl names! Lol! OH well good thing I still have a few months!~
In the meantime my blood clot is still as big as ever. Nothing really has changed and I am still on bed rest until my blood clot goes away. We shall see what they say six weeks from now when I see the perinatologist again. In the meantime I will just be in my bed. Sooo you will all know where to find me!
Perhaps I should take up a new hobby.. knitting or something? Any suggestions? Or anyone willing to show my how to knit? I am fresh out of ideas!

Here we are...

As the warm weather draws nearer. I find myself becoming more and more impatient with my current sistuation. I still am on bed rest and the thought of spending all spring and summer here almost brings me to tears. I have no idea what to expect when I see the perinatologist next week; each week my blood clot changes size and shape. I am stilling have alot of morning sickness and am begining to wonder if it is going to become my constant companion throughout this pregnancy. I never would have thought that food and I would have such a volital relationship. Alas, we do. My headaches are another story, somedays are good and others I feel as though my head is going to explode off my body at any given moment. When I am feeling good, I begin to feel stir crazy, like I want to go do things and be with my sweet kids, but upon even the simple tasks such as showering or putting on my make up for the day can prove to be a difficult task, mostly due to the fact that I begin to shake so bad from standing to long. And to think that I worked with of my other pregnancy's up until the day I was due. ( standing on my feet doing hair) This too provokes great emotion out of me upon realizing that even the simple things are really hard for me to do.
I write this all down in hopes of feeling happier about my sistuation. But at this point I am not sure that I do, I feel a great loss of all the things I am missing out on, and I am really tired of being asked how I am feeling and when I give the short answer of "fine" I am met with an answer of well you don't look very well. Yes I am aware of how I look, believe me I am still allowed to use the bathroom... which has a mirror. Please just lie to me about how I look and let me tell you that I am fine. Because really deep down I am going to be just fine. This is a small moment in my life and I am sure that I am going to pull through and eventually go back to normal whatever that means... especially since having a third baby is going to rock the boat alot, and a new sense of normal is going to be setting in at my house this fall.
I am hoping that all is well with everyone else, I have really appreciated all the help with my children and the meals, as well as the friendships that I have. I really am blessed, please just forgive me if I am not able to make it to all the birthdays, baby blessings, graduations, and so forth. But know that I am wishing with all my heart that I could be.
I am hoping for the best next week, my ob said best case senario he thinks modified best rest will be in order but we shall see.

A little over two weeks now...

Well I have now been on bed rest for a little over two weeks now:( . While it has not been the funnest event of my life so far I have seen alot of small miracles. To those of you helping us with kids and meals and prayers. I say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I go see the perinatologist in two more weeks and I am hoping for good news then.. by then I will be 18 wks, and almost half through this pregnancy. I don't think I would have made it this far if we weren't getting so much help. We have truly been blessed. I am still not sure how this will all play out in the end but I know that the Lord is watching over my family, and that what ever happens I know it will be ok. I have been struggling to understand what I am supposed to learn from this and maybe it's more that I have to learn to find happiness not just during the good times in my life but also during the not so good. I think now that I am finally 16 wks along morning sickness is starting to subside thanks heavens! The past two days have not been bad at all. ( knock on wood) So for now I am hopeful. This week is a big week for us; I go see the cardidologist and see how and if that plays into things that I have going on, I am somewhat nervous about that but we shall see.
Again, thanks so much everyone for all your help and love and concern on our behalf we really appreciate it! We love you all.

Well here we go..

So today I saw the perinatologist. I am really high risk right now. I have a huge blood clot in there and its not good. I am on strict bed rest. Not to do anything else. I have alot of underlying issues as well. I had some blood work issue with blood count and so forth, the hole in my heart might be having some issues ( still have to go see a cardiologist). If the blood clot doesn't heal and get better I am at risk for alot of different things. The good news is that right now the baby is unaffected and seems to be growing really well. I guess I just need to have faith and stay in my bed and hope that things work out. Right now they are mostly concerned that as I am 14 wks it could end up in late miscarriage. But as I progress and get further along it can end in pre term labor among other things, I don't really remember all the other scenarios she gave ( I had begun to cry by that point). Anyhow, we are going to pray hard that we can get this baby safely here and in the mean time just stay in bed and not do anything. I have had lots of blood work done and am still waiting on some results. So I am hoping for the best and trying really hard to be happy about being on bed rest for the next 6 months, or if the blood clot heals up and goes away.. which ever comes first.
So ready or not here we go.
I am sorry this is all I seem to blog about lately, but I haven't been taking many pictures or gone anywhere exciting... So hopefully in the weeks to come I will find other things to write about.

When it rains it pours...

So my dr. appointment did not go so well. I now get to go see a perinatologist on tuesday. I am sick with worry that things will go badly. This all on top of being sick alot (morning sickness still) I feel terrible alot and am just wishing that I could do more than what I am doing. I have definelty been trying my hardest to draw nearer to my Heavenly Father for strength right now. But my great weakness is when I allow in those feelings of doubt and uncertainty.
Just when I think it can't get much worse Aaron's car drops a rod. Sooo.. when it rains it pours I guess.Have to now try to find a decent cheap car. Sometimes I feel as though each day is a battle to just get out of my bed, play with my children and will myself to do a little house work each day. That perhaps if I tell myself long enough that I am well my body will begin to believe it. My hope is dwindling on this matter right now. I feel like I am in survival of the fittest mode, and believe me when I say I am losing that battle.
I know that this is but a small moment of my life right now and I will eventually get past this, that whatever the outcome I need to find something to learn from all this. I just keep thinking that I am not sure what I am supposed to learn from this.
Anyhow, sorry for the pity party I am throwing myself, I have lots to be thankful for and am glad that I have the gospel in my life. Thanks everyone for your help, concerns and prayers on our behalf, we appreciate it alot.

FINALLY!

SOME GOOD NEWS: My Dr appointment finally went well. My blood clot that last week was as big as baby is much smaller. They said I will probably have some more bleeding but that it should let up in a couple of weeks. They said it looked like things were healing nicely, they said hopefully in a couple weeks we will be past all of this stuff. I am sure hoping so. SOoo I still have parial bed rest for the next week or two. But beyond that it looks as though things are going to get better and in August we really will be adding on to our family. Thanks so much everyone for your prayers and help. We have really appreciated it :)

If its not one thing its another..

So we saw the dr today. I now have a blood clot in there. They said it could just go away, could get worse, it could do any number of things right now. Soo we are hoping for the best. Right now it is the same size as the baby. But the baby is still doing just fine. Good news is the by the end of the week I can ease off bed rest and just take it easy.. what ever that means. In the mean time we will hope for the best, but most likely the bleeding will continue. So for now wish me luck that this gets better and not worse.
Thanks for everything and all you love and concern.

Ten positive things I can still enjoy from my bed side view!

Well, today I thought I would write a little about things I can do still.
1- Get hugs and7 kisses from my sweet kids.
2- Watch movies
3- Read good books
4- Can still fold laundry.. ( ok for those of you laughing.. I know not the most positve thing cuz laundry is never ending...) but I can feel like I am still contributing something to my family.
5- Can sleep whenever I feel like it.
6- No cooking and no clean up afterward
7- I get to be alone with my own thoughts for the first time in I don't know how long.
8- I can read books to my kids
9- I can visit with people and talk on the phone with out interuption.
10- I know this won't last forever, so I know I should make the most of it. Eventually this too shall pass. It is but a small moment in my life. So I think I will endure and try my hardest to make the most of this, even though it is long and tedious. Thanks for all your prayers and calls and things I really appreciate them.

From bad to worse..

Well spent half of the day at the ER and found out why I am having so many problems..
Well I think how the put it was something like this.. sub chronic hemorage.. or something to that effect.. so here is what that means.. BED REST WITH OUT PAROLE... ok sheesh i know a little on the dramatic side.. I might get parole for good behavior and no bleeding. Basically my placenta is not fully formed yet which is normal for how far along I am and it has not fully attached but I have a big bleeder as they called it on the outside of my uterus.. so I get bed rest for at least a wk possibly two and we will see how it goes. So pray for me that this gets better sooner rather than later I might go nuts laying here in this bed.. lol.. for now all is ok. Thanks for all your worry and concern!

Complicated

Normally on here I try to keep things happy and positive.. However lately has not been a fun time at our house.. the house is a mess, I feel sick all day all night, sat was the straw that broke the camel's back... I started spotting... but alas after spending a couple of hours at the hospital and getting that stupid rhogam shot that I love so much, I was told things were fine and baby was good. Things were good after that and I started to feel better... I began to clean house and so forth, we also having been working hard on our food storage, gettting shelves and food storage room all done.. Finally got most of it done.. then came yesterday... I cleaned house and felt like crap but at least it got done. I went to take a shower and began to feel really sick.. thought I just over did it... got out and layed down and not ten minutes later bagan to bleed really bad... I thought for sure it was bad news but a couple of hours at the dr office they said baby is still fine and to just take it easy. I am hoping that my all day sickness( labeled as morning sicknes.. such a lie) subsides soon and that my bleeding will ease up so that I can resume normal life and get on with a few things before this baby comes. I am hoping that things will get better here soon and that all will be ok.. I have never had this many things go wrong with a pregnancy before.. both of my other two were text book pregnancys. So hope for me that this gets better soon..
